Spacious, detached house with lovely field views at rear

Situated on the edge of Silverstone village, our house has two sitting rooms, a large modern kitchen and ample dining room. Downstairs is modern, spacious and comfortable. Upstairs there are five bedrooms, although two are offices. The house sleeps 8 comfortably. There is a double bed in the master bedroom, which also has an en-suite, a small double in a 'boys' bedroom, twin beds (can be a large double) in the other main guest room and a double sofa bed in the second living room downstairs (which can split and be two singles).

About the location

Silverstone is based in beautiful, rural South Northamptonshire, and is home to the famous Formula One racetrack. The view from the rear of the house is quite special and can be seen from all of the actual bedrooms upstairs as well as from three of the rooms downstairs. The area is good for cycling, walking and exploring the countryside. It is not far from London (30 minutes by train from Milton Keynes), Oxford and Stratford upon Avon are both a 45 minutes drive and Milton Keynes and Northampton have theatres and other attractions for both children and adults, and Milton Keynes also boasts good shopping. Bicester Shopping Village is only 25 minutes away. A car is advisable, due the rural location but there is a local shop and pub in the village both of which are excellent.

We have a cat but he can be fed by a neighbour if that's more convenient. We also have fish in a tank. The cat means that we cannot accommodate pets, unfortunately.
