The Chalet

We live in a 3 bedroom semi-detached house. On the ground floor we have a split level combined living room/dining room, a large (5m x 3m) sun lounge/study and a conservatory. Two of the bedrooms contain double beds and the 3rd bedroom has a single bed with a 2nd pull out single bed underneath. The main bathroom and the shower room are both downstairs.
Outside is a garden area at the front and a small lawn and tiled patio area at the back with BBQ etc.
In the village, there is a corner shop and a pub within 5 minutes walking distance. Our village is to the south of Norwich, 20 minutes by car. There is also a bus from the village into Norwich.

About the location

Norwich is a pleasant provincial city with a castle, museums, cinemas, theatres and shopping malls. There is a regular train and coach service from Norwich to London.
We are 45 minutes from the eastern coastal resorts, such as Southwold (home to Adnams brewery), Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft and about 1 hour from the North Norfolk coast (Cromer, Hunstanton, Kings Lynn). There is a theme park at Pleasurewood Hills near Lowestoft and a steam railway in North Norfolk. You can hire boats in the Broads National Park, a network of waterways and small lakes, or simply go walking. There are several stately homes within driving distance including Blickling Hall, Holkham Hall and the Queen`s Residence at Sandringham. Bungay and Beccles are attractive market towns on the Norfolk / Suffolk border.
