Modern bungalow 1 mile from the beach

Our home is a spacious detached bungalow with a large patio and lawned rear garden offering fabulous far reaching views and amazing sunsets! It is in a quiet residential area, but within walking distance to the beach at West Bay and Bridport's array of shops, restaurants and an Arts centre with independent cinema.
We have 2 double bedded rooms, one with an en-suite shower room and one bedroom with a large single bed. The house bathroom has a bath with overhead shower.
There is a sitting room with TV and the hub of the house is the large and airy kitchen dining area, with bifold doors onto the decking and patio. The garden is south-west facing.

About the location

Our immediate area is residential but within a few minutes walk you can be on Bothen Hill with sea and country views. There are lovely walks all around and Bridport is a 10 minute walk along the river meadows. We are surrounded by Dorset's picturesque villages and just a mile from West Bay's beach and fishing harbour. Chesil Beach, part of the World Heritage Jurassic coast, stretches from West Bay to Portland and includes the Swannery at Abbotsbury and Burton Bradstock's Hive Beach.
There are plenty of sporting activities and facilities nearby such as a golf course, leisure centre with swimming pool and riding stables.
There is no train station in Bridport, the nearest being Maiden Newton, Crewkerne or Dorchester, but the Jurassic Coast bus service connects Weymouth to Lyme Regis with a stop 5 minutes walk from us.
