This is a duplex apartment in the architecturally renowned Golden Lane Estate in Central London. It has a sun filled living room with a balcony, a separate kitchen and two double bedrooms and a bathroom with a bath and shower upstairs. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. We have a very friendly cat who might be staying here during the swap or a friend might be able to look after him.

About the location

We live right in the City of London, on the edge of the financial district, two minutes from the Barbican Arts Centre. This is a vibrant area with many cafes and restaurants. Even though we live in the heart of the city, there is a real sense of a village community here. We are also 10 minutes walking distance from Shoredhitch and Hoxton, with its fashionable shops and art galleries. It's also very quick and easy to get into the West End, by bus or tube, we are 5 minutes walk from Barbican Underground Station. We live opposite a park which has a children's playground. There are also communal gardens and tennis courts, a gym and a swimming pool on the actual estate, for which temporary membership can be obtained at reasonable prices.
