Pindi Lodge

Our house is a detached house on a private estate called Wentworth. It is fairly modern with 4 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and one cloakroom. 3 of the bathrooms have baths and showers whilst the master bedroom has a shower. One bedroom is downstairs with ensuite and therefore ideally suited to those preferring not to climb stairs. There is a drawing room, snug and large kitchen diner, south facing woodland garden with patio furniture. A large entrance hall houses a baby grand piano, and all the reception rooms lead off of this hallway.

About the location

Virginia Water is home to central London commuters. It is close to the M25, M4 and M3 motorways. The town has a four track railway station in the middle of the estate on the line between London Waterloo, Weybridge and Reading. Heathrow Airport is four miles to the north-east. The town has two rows of shops, which include various restaurants and shopping can be also found in the nearby towns of Kingston-upon-Thames, Ascot and Windsor. The towns of Sunningdale, Englefield Green and Ascot are the closest. Holloway Sanatorium, an asylum for the mentally ill, where the writer Bill Bryson worked upon first settling in England was located near to the town but closed in the 1980s and was converted to private accommodation. Savill Gardens and Virginia Water lake are all close by.
Pindi Lodge is within walking distance to the local shops, restaurants, hairdressers and train station. London Waterloo is 40 minutes by train. The famous Wentworth Golf Club is within walking distance.
