Calpe is a seaside resort popular with both Spanish and European visitors. Enjoy the long stretches of sandy beaches, coastal paths, excellent seafood and paella restaurants. Ideal for singles, couples and families looking for a relaxing holiday as well as those who enjoy water sports, hiking and cycling.

Highly recommend visiting Calpe in the spring, autumn and winter months when it`s sunny but not too hot and there are fewer people about.

Away from the beach, discover the steep craggy sierras of nearby Oltà, Bernia and Aitana. There are tons of walking trails, ideal to tackle from October to April when the weather is milder. Good walking boots are a must for the terrain.

Hire a car from the airport and visit the picturesque nearby towns of Aldea, Guadalest and Moraire, or go further afield to Denia, Gandia and the cities of Alicante, Elche, Murcia and Valencia.
