About the location

The Lewiston / Auburn area were formerly known for their saw mills and industrial activity powered by the Androscoggins River in the early years of the French Canadian and Irish settlers. The town hosts spectacular cathedrals built by these working class immigrants who powered the economy and the settlement of the area.
