Delightful rural house with pool and sauna, in St Christophe de Chaulieu, Lower Normandy - Plenty of indoor and outdoor space with above the ground pool and sauna.

There is plenty of private space. A garden to the rear which accommodates the pool and sauna and a large gravel area to the front of the house, perfect for playing games. The pool is maintained and available during the Spring/Summer period.

The hamlet the property sits within is very peaceful, a perfect place to unwind!

Outside is a lawned garden for relaxing on sunny days. The front has a large gravel area, perfect for sitting out with a glass of Rose whilst playing a game of boule! There is an above the ground private swimming pool which can be seen in the pictures. This is maintained for use during Spring and Summer. The property also has a sauna, for those who just want to relax, or for the more energetic who have enjoyed cycling or walking during the day. There is a table, outdoor chairs, BBQ and loungers at the property. Lovely walks and cycle routes direct from the house. Bathroom towels and bed linen are included in the price. Other: Bedroom 1 is a large bedroom which accommodates a king sized double bed and furniture - very light and spacious. Bedroom 2 is also spacious with bunk beds and a single bed with wardrobe and chest of drawers. Bedroom 3 is a smaller room with a double bed, chest of drawers. It is a light room with a window opening out with a view over the fields.

There is no wifi available at the house, but it can be found locally and our visitors` information guide will provide details on where. The guide will be sent to you at the time of booking.

About the location

A few minutes by car/bike for your croissants in Truttemer-le-Grand.

Local towns Sourdeval and Tinchebray, both 10 minutes away, offer everything you need in the way of supplies. Both lovely towns, with Sourdeval offering a weekly market.

Splendid walks and cycle routes start immediately you step outside the house. There is also a fantastic cycle path from Sourdeval where you can cycle to Mortain or Vire, or if you are really enthusiastic to Mont St Michel. The route used to be the old railway line, which has now been converted to a brilliant cycle path.

Easy drive from Calais, Dinan or Dinard.

Mont St Michel, Bayeux, beautiful sandy Carolles Plage, historic Vire, Villedieu Les Poeles, Domfront, St Malo, Dinard, Dinan and D-Day landing beaches are not far.
