A two story terraced house with small garden, balcony and shared use of swimming pool and tennis court. 5 minutes walk from Las Fuentes beach and promenade in the direction of the nearby harbour and the National Park area in the direction of the lighthouse. Easy access to restaurants and supermarkets (some only open in high season), 20 mins. walk to the seaside town of Alcossebre and string of further beaches to the south.

The house itself has a large lounge and dining area, kitchen and shower downstairs, upstairs bedrooms (one with sea-facing balcony) and main bathroom. Very suitable for children because of the safe enclosure and facilities of family home, proximity of pool and beach, bikes and pushchair available. Resident parking outside.

About the location

Car not essential, especially if you enjoy walking. Situated in the quieter residential area of the resort, close to walking, swimming and biking areas of the National Park.

With transport the local area backed by orange and almond groves, artichoke fields strung along several very different beach areas is well worth exploring. Further afield to the north lie the ancient towns of Alcala and Peniscola and the delta del Ebre, inland the wine-growing area of Priorat. There are plenty of caves and castles to explore, local festivals and historical remains from early medieval times through to active involvement against Franco in the Civil War. Tarragona and Valencia are less than an hour away by car, Barcelona about 2. Alcossebre itself can get busy in July and August but the rest of the year is a very pleasant, largely uncommercialised friendly Spanish town.
