Modern fully air conditioned and heated bungalow set in a large native arid zone garden that backs onto a park. Both the house and garden are low maintenance and provide an ideal base to explore the iconic town of Alice Springs, a 5 minute drive or 30 minute walk away.

Two bedrooms each with queen bed, 2 bathrooms, 2 living areas and a well equipped kitchen. The third bedroom is an office space. Large veranda allows for outdoor living with many birds visiting the garden.

About the location

Flights to all cities on a daily basis and the airport is a 10 minute drive from the house.

Central Australia is known for the stunning desert scenery and there are many opportunities for day trips to gorges and waterholes. Uluru, or Ayers Rock, is a 4 hour drive and many tours are available, or rental cars.

There is an excellent bike path to Simpson's Gap, approx 25 km ride.

The Larapinta Trail starts in Alice Springs and can be walked in its entirety or in sections.

The bird life in the area is outstanding and there are tours with guides available.
The Alice Springs Desert Park is very close and an excellent place to walk in an arid zone environment.

The town has all the facilities needed including a large hospital. There are lots of cafes, restaurants and shops.

Mountain biking is a very popular activity with excellent trails.

Indigenous art is a feature with an enormous selection of art on sale.

There is an excellent golf course minutes away from the house, with stunning views of the MacDonnell ranges.

While Central Australia is very hot in summer, it is a dry heat and everything is air conditioned. The winter has glorious sunny days and cool to cold nights.
