Family home in Barcelona

A family house on a quiet street in the neighbourhood of Guinardó, Barcelona.

It has two bedrooms plus a guest room in the garden. There is a combined kitchen plus dining room and sitting room on the ground floor with a shower / toilet. Upstairs there`s a bedroom with a double bed and another with bunkbeds for kids as well as a bathroom, a terrace with table and chairs and steps down to a small shady garden with trees and plants.

There`s a solarium on the roof, with views of the coast.

There`s a space for a car which is accessed from the back alley, a private, cobbled street with orange trees where kids can play safely.

About the location

We live in Guinardó, a suburban neighbourhood of Barcelona, right next to the Guinardó park - a wooded hill with footpaths for walking / running as well as spectacular views over the city. About 20 mins walk away are the "bunkers" with 360º views. 30 mins walking through the park will bring you to Park Guell. 15 mins walk away is the modernist masterpiece, Hospital Sant Pau; and 30 mins will get you to Sagrada Familiar.

There are good local shops for fruit, cheese, fish etc, but for restaurants we would recommend taking the metro two stops to Gracià, a bohemian neighbourhood with loads of excellent bars, restaurants and squares with terraces. The metro is a short walk away and you can be in the city centre in about 20 mins.
