My home is situated down a quiet country road, just over one kilometre to the centre of town. It is a detached house overlooking fields to the front and has a nice garden.
There are three ensuite double bedrooms, a sitting room, a kitchen/dining room and an office. It is a bright house.
About the location
Ballinrobe is a small town in the west of Ireland. It is a great base to explore the local area. Ballinrobe has a Race track, an 18 hole golf course, is located on the shores of Lough Mask with lots of really scenic bicycle routes.
It is only about 40km to Knock airport, 30 km to Galway city, 12km to Cong village, 40km to Westport and a gateway to beautiful Connemara.
Galway is a bustling city, full of beautiful restuarants, shops and regular cultural festivals.
Cong village is a beautiful spot, The Quiet Man was filmed here. The world famous Ashford Castle is a must to visit. Westport is another thriving tourist town, and you could climb Croagh Patrick, or go for a stroll on one of the beaches. It is also the starting point of The Great Western Greenway cycle route.
