Old Mill Cottage

The house is a three bedroom old mill on the outskirts of a quiet town of Tenbury Wells (5min drive). Tenbury is known as the town in the Orchard. The small town has a Tesco ideal for purchasing food, lots of pubs, cafes, hairdressers, lovely shops. You wont find any other large well known stores, and would need to travel to Hereford or Worcester the closest cities both approx 40 mins away. We are a 15 minute drive from the historic town of Ludlow again I would recommend a visit a beautiful town with lots to see and do. We are lucky to have the Regal theatre which is an old fashioned cinema and holds performances so worth checking out whats on before your travel. If you are a real theatre lover you need to visit the beautiful town of Malvern where they have excellent productions on we go frequently approx 40 mins away. We are National Trust members and are happy to leave our passes so you can enjoy the English countryside free of charge we have many locations very close to us, Berrington Hall, Croft Castle, Brockhampton to name a few. We have a large garden with a patio and garden furniture and bbq on the first layer and then a barn, chickens and rabbits on the grass, all are free roam and very friendly. We would be grateful if you could open and close the chickens at nighttime, (the rabbits live in the barn) help yourself to fresh eggs. No problem if your not animal lovers we have some fabulous neighbours who will happily look after them. At the bottom of our garden you will find the neighbours two goats and pet sheep. Downstairs have a kitchen diner, separate dinning room, lounge, downstairs toilet and sun room. We have parking for three cars. All bedrooms are double and two have an ensuite. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the two additional rooms both have a small doubles with a single bunk on top one has an ensuite. Each bedroom has a television with sky and Netflix`s set up. We are approx three hours by car from London. If your coming to England I would highly recommend a visit to London best route is drive to Birmingham train station and catch a fast train. After the hussle and bussle of London your be glad to retreat back to Burford Mill. The pace of life is slow here compared to city living. We have fabulous neighbours and my parents are two miles away in the event of any problems. Hope you love Tenbury as much as us.
