Our home has a lovely atmosphere, and it is at the centre of everything that you might need. It is spacious and well illuminated, enjoying a fantastic peace, while the vibrant city of York is at the doorstep. Below we list what our marvellous terraced Victorian house has to offer.

• Two good size bedrooms. The master bedroom receives sunshine in the mornings and has a comfortable double bed (orthopedically designed). The second room receives sunlight during the afternoon and has a comfy sofa that transfroms into a double bed. An excellent place to sit down and relax or can act as an office with a standing desk.
• One huge converted loft that can be either a bedroom or a playroom. We have many board games and a projector for a perfect movie night.
• One spacious bathroom with shower and bath
• The house is energy efficient and thermally comfortable all year long!
• The spacious, comfy, open plan of the living room area is relaxing and cozy. There is a gas fireplace to bright-up the atmosphere in winter. There is a big sofa where you can read and relax.
• There is a marvellous kitchen extension with a big skylight that allows glorious sunshine in throughout the day.
• There are music instruments to enjoy long summer afternoons
• Fully equipped kitchen that has everything to prepare great feasts!
• A backyard with a table and benches surrounded by plants and flowers. It receives the afternoon sunshine giving you a great space to chill out.

We love our home, and we think that you will like it too. It is located in the heart of York and at the heart of Yorkshire. It can offer you many different adventures!

About the location

Our house is in the most vibrant part of York. Bishy High Street is literally around the corner, giving you the possibility of having fresh croissants in the morning, flowers, fruit and vegetables, delicious ice creams, coffee shops, restaurants, pubs, fish and chips, and more. We love supporting our local stores!

Around the other corner, we have the Rowntree Park, which is gorgeous and offers various activities such as tennis/basketball courts, picnic areas, a cafe, theatre performances in the park, and many green areas to stroll. If you cross the park, you will see the river Ouse where the walks are pleasant and relaxing. There are many walks you can take that are close by, for example, the Askham bog is 13 mins by car.

The house has excellent transport links. There are bus stops close by, and even the city sightseeing bus stops around the corner. The train station is 15 minutes walking, offering links direct to London, Manchester Airport, Leeds, etc.

The ancient city wall is 5 minutes from the house. You can walk on the wall, visit the York Minster, the Art Gallery, the Shambles, and all the touristic attractions that this fabulous city has!
