Our home is a stylish, welcoming , compact detached bungalow. It is at the end of a cul-de-sac and is surprisingly quiet despite being just off the High Street, within a five minute's walk of wide-ranging amenities. I
We have a lounge / dining room, 1 single and 1 double bedroom, off-street parking and all usual facilities; excellent Wifi, smart TV, electronic clavinola, walk-in bath with overhead shower, dishwasher, microwave, w/m and tumble-drier.
The pretty garden includes a summer house, pond and a range of small fruit trees.

Stonehouse (pop. 8,000), has an award-winning vineyard, canal-side 17th century Stonehouse Court (now a hotel with public access) and scenic views from Doverow Hill. It also has a weir, ancient bluebell wood and award winning gardens where 'Wynns cafe' orders can be enjoyed. It has a library, huge charity bookshop, Indian and Italian restaurants, take-aways, pubs, outdoor exercise park with a boules court and is a national 'Small towns in Bloom' winner.
Stonehouse is a friendly, down-to-earth, working town in the 'Undiscovered Cotswolds', within easy reach of the better known tourist Cotswold villages and towns such as Nailsworth, Painswick, Tetbury (Highgrove), Stow-on-the Wold and Bourton-on-the Water. The market town of Stroud, 4 miles away, was voted no.1 in the Sunday Times. Stroud has excellent indoor and outdoor markets with street food, cinema, theatre, many independent shops and cafes, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, museum, leisure centre, and a lively alternative community and cultural scene. Nailsworth is an upmarket, foodie market town 7 miles away.
