A spacious 1930s family home that is a few minutes drive or cycle from beautiful Derbyshire countryside.
With 4 bedrooms (1 super king, 1 double/office , 1 with bunk beds and 1 single bed).
The majority house is been recently decorated to a contemporary style whilst highlighting original 1930s features.
There is large garden with seven chickens so you can collect your own eggs for breakfast.
There is a bbq area with and out door sofa, flower borders, fruit and veg growing.
We have 3 young children 3,8,10 so lots of games, books and children’s bikes if need them.
We have a wood burner, good wifi, large tv and game station.
We have a cat allergies so can’t swap with a cat home but happy to stay in homes with other pets and very happy to take care of other pets including dogs.
About the location
Our home is an Allestree a friendly suburb on the fringe of the city Centre and minutes away from stunning countryside. Great for walking, cycling, exploring beautiful historic sites such as Keddleston hall (5min drive) chatsworth house (35min drive), Calke Abbey, Hadfon Hall, Sudbury hall. Incredible selection of local parks you can walk to; Markeaton park (10min walk) amazing for children and dogs, Allestree park (10min walk) and europes largest ReWilded park, Darley Abbey park (5 min drive/30min walk) landscaped by Capability Brown.
There is nearby tennis courts. 2min walk.
In town there are some fantastic free art galleries and museums, shopping, theatre and bars and restaurants.
Or if you want to explore further to see more history along Belper, Matlock and Cromford.
A fantastic location for walkers, runners, keen historians, foodies and young families.
