Heron House

Heron House is a detached 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home. Three of the bedrooms are used during a house swap as one is an office and we lock it up during a swap. Two of the bedrooms have king size beds and the third bedroom acts as an extra sitting area with 2 good quality single sofa beds for extra sleeping accommodation when required.

It was built in the 1980`s, nice and light and it has a delightful open plan kitchen/dining room with a conservatory off the dining area. Double glazed and centrally heated so always nice and cosy.

There is a small enclosed garden at the rear that catches the sun and a handy garage for bike storage.

It is in a cul-de-sac so a really quiet location that is a short and very pleasant walk through the park into the beautiful town of Buxton. Off road parking.

About the location

Buxton is a small market town full of beautiful architecture famous for it`s spring water.

There is a stunning Opera House and a cinema as well as many lovely bars and restaurants. The newly opened Spa Hotel in town has a roof top swimming pool and a spa for a relaxing treat.

There are lots of beautiful walks and cycles from the door and further out into the Peak District as well as many grand houses to visit, such as Chatsworth House, Lyme Park and Haddon Hall to name a few.
