Family friendly country cottage on the edge of the Peak District

We’re a family of 4 living in a newly renovated, stone built, double–fronted, 4 bedroom cottage in Bollington, on the edge of the Peak District. We have 3 double bedrooms and a small child`s room. Stunning private front and rear gardens with private driveway.

Bedroom 1 – double bed and en-suite shower room.
Bedroom 2 – single bed
Bedroom 3 – king size sofa bed (currently used as a home office)
Bedroom 4 – single bed

We have 2 separate sitting rooms (one used as a playroom); both with log burners in. Large family bathroom and downstairs toilet. Utility room with washer and dryer. The kitchen has been recently decorated and has a dishwasher and induction hob.

Ideally, we would require pet care for our very friendly cat, Tilly. No other pets to stay in our house please but we are happy to pet sit.

About the location

We are in a semi-rural location in the beautiful Cheshire countryside. The cottage is a fantastic base for exploring the stunning Peak District, yet we are very close to transport links.

Manchester is 20 minutes by train from Macclesfield station (2 miles away), which also has a direct train service to London (1 hour 40 minutes).

Bollington has a great selection of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. There are fantastic walks on the doorstep, with a path outside the house that leads straight up to the local landmark ‘White Nancy’. Here you’ll find breathtaking views over Manchester, the Peak District and beyond.

We are also very close to the canal and the area is popular with cyclists.
