This is a semi-detached property in a great village location, but only 15mins from Exeter Airport. The village has 2 pubs and an excellent General Stores, selling nearly all the things you might need. There is a train station here, about 5 mins walk, with a service to London Waterloo & the other way to Exeter in 13mins and a local bus service to Ottery St.Mary & the coast at Sidmouth.
The house itself, is in a country location with local walks around the lanes & orchards, tennis courts and a Playing field for the children with skate boarding area, while Exmouth has a top-notch skate board area in the park, to which people visit from all over the country. Teignmouth too is great.

My home has an enclosed garden with a summer house, & table & chairs outside.
Inside, the house has 2 double bedrooms and a loft room, which has 2 single beds & a small childs’ bed. There is another small single room which I use as an office on the same floor as the double bedrooms.
Downstairs a kitchen /dining room and a separate sitting room. There is also a Conservatory. The Utility room has a large washing machine. There’s a Tumble drier in the conservatory, and rotary drier outside the kitchen..
Private parking is at the rear of the property, away from the main road.

About the location

The village has 2 pubs The Thirsty Farmer & The New Fountain & an excellent general shop, selling nearly all the stuff a supermarket would stock. There is a train station, with a service to & from London Waterloo and it’s about 13mins to Exeter Central Station so easy to get to Exeter for visiting the quayside, shops, walks, water sports and climbing walls and the museum, Phoenix Theatre etc. Exeter St.David's Station is about 4 minutes further along the line from Exeter Central, for trains west and connections all over the country.

Whimple has a bus service to the coast at Sidmouth. The South coast for beaching & walks, with boat trips from Exmouth, is about 25 - 30 mins away by car. Exmouth & Sidmouth are sandy while Budleigh Salterton is pebbly and the start of the Jurassic Coast. Not far to Teignmouth & Torbay.

Whimple is close to the motorways for access to Dartmoor for hiking. and there are now fast roads to North Devon or Cornwall for further exploration - St.Ives. Eden Project at St.Austell, the Lost Gardens of Heligan at Lostwithiel, The Minack Theatre at Porthcurno, Mousehole, Fowey, Penzance or Padstow; or even the Isles of Scilly.
