2 Dairy Cottages

Once the village parsonage, this grade II listed building is over 500 years old. The building was originally adjoined to a single storey village hall and in Victorian times it was extended and converted to three separate workers` cottages. The accommodation has many interesting, original features, such as the classic Norfolk tiled floor. There are indications of the building`s historic importance in its architectural details, including the original, unusual, brick Tudor stairway and doorpost carvings. Modern amenities, such as indoor plumbing and central heating, have been added sensitively to give added warmth, comfort and coziness. Guests will have sole use of the sun-trap terrace and 1-acre garden.

Accommodation comprises a very large double bedroom with ensuite shower and loo, attic bedroom with 3/4 bed, a sitting room with woodburning stove and sofa-bed, a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and stove and a downstairs cloakroom and loo. There is a front and side door to the accommodation.

There is a cot and highchair availablefor families with a baby, but the stairs are very steep, so we do not recommend it for people with small children. The attic bedroom is accessed up very steep stairs and does not have bathroom facilities. Suitable for sure-footed young adults or teenagers.
