In the village of Red Hill South on the Mornington Peninsula, 75 minutes from Melbourne, our home at the end of small, secluded lane, sits among vineyards, apple, cherry [in season] and pick-your-own strawberry farms.

Beautiful garden, great outdoor areas for bbq and glass of wine outlooking over orchards and vines. Wild bird seed is provided for the many parrots which drop by for a feed throughout the day.

We have 3/4 bedrooms, two bathrooms and separate living areas.
Walk to the village for a morning coffee, restaurants and shops. Lunch at one of several excellent winery restaurants. Pinot noir is the variety that thrives on the Mornington Peninsula. You'll be checking great winery restaurants including Montalto, Ten Minutes by Tractor and Stonier.

The beaches and surf breaks of the Mornington Peninsula are a short drive away.
Attractions are around every corner, there's even an old-fashioned movie drive-in.
Spas and wellness centres, an ale trail and and a farm gate trail dot the region.

Or try swimming with dolphins,, try a a gin high tea or a thrilling sky ride to the top of Arthur's Seat, with spectacular views across Port Phillip Bay. bay.

Then there's the great golf trail, featuring several of Australia's top championship golf courses close by.

The Mornington Peninsula has more than 15 prestigious golf courses, making the most of an optimal natural landscape that boasts seven of Australia’s top 50 courses.

About the location

Red Hill sits midway between Mornington Peninsula’s beaches and fabulous small towns like Portsea and Sorrento, from where you can catch a passenger/car ferry across the bay to Queenscliffe on the Bellarine Peninsula.

Melbourne is a great city but when you want to chill among the trees and the vines, Mornington Peninsula is an easy car ride away.
