Munich Apartment: Comfortable, Stylish and Convenient

My apartment is in a charming 19th-century building with views over the rooftops of the surrounding area. It is light and airy, and because we love to have guests we have designed the space so that we can sleep up to seven people in comfort (including on a spacious sofabed which is as comfortable as any "proper" bed - guaranteed!) - although it is actually ideal for two couples travelling together or for a family with two to four kids.

Our location is perfect for getting to know Munich and is also extremely handy if you want to use Munich as a base for exploring the surrounding mountains and lakes. The apartment might be of special interest to music lovers, as we have a piano.

Please note: Although I`m a newcomer to HomeBase Holiday, I have experience of over a decade of swaps and have done more then 20 via an alternative site.

About the location

I live in the part of Munich called Neuhausen, a charming mixture of residences and shops, and not far from Schloss Nymphenburg, one of Munich`s loveliest attractions. Munich has plenty of beautiful architecture, world class museums and opera, plus delicious Bavarian cuisine. It is one of Europe`s safest and most attractive cities.

The apartment is very close to public transportation and just two stops away from the central train station, from where you can easily travel to the Alps, the Bavarian lakes, Salzburg, Vienna, Switzerland - or even France and Italy. The visit to the fairy tale castle of Neuschwanstein is an easy day trip from Munich.
