18th century Farmhouse close to Norwich
Fascinating early 18th century Norfolk Farmhouse, not on an active farm any more and only 20 minutes from Norwich, the University of East Anglia and Sainsbury Centre and Norfolk & Norwich Teaching Hospital. It contains most of the original features, including oak beams and windows and an inglenook fireplace. It is filled with arts and curios from around the world.
About the location
The house is detached and situated in its own grounds with a delightful large and enclosed garden with lawns and patio, off road parking in front of house.
It is on the edge of a small and quiet village. The Lodge Griddle and Grill Bar and Restaurant is only half a mile from the house and there are good pubs and restaurants in surrounding villages. There is a small farm shop with its own ice cream factory on an adjacent farm. Fresh eggs and milk come from half a mile away! Stables and horse riding available in the village. Dereham, 3 miles away has many shops and supermarkets, a twice weekly market and its own bijou cinema.
