Our Summer Terrace, craftsman-built cottage-style townhouse is set in Monaco Village, with landscaped English gardens with resort style facilities on site. The cottage is double glazed, has a new kitchen and flooring and some special touches, gas fire and heaters. There is a peaceful courtyard off the lounge to the rear, overlooking a pretty creek, with established planting and north facing sunshine.

This is two level living with one huge bedroom and a luxurious bathroom with a spa bath and twin shower upstairs. The washing machine is also in here.

Designed to replicate an English village this is a very appealing complex with with homes built from hand-made bricks and with shingle-roofed porches and carriage lights. With party walls hand-plastered over concrete block; you have the solidity of permanent materials, thermal mass for cool summers and warm winters and acoustic qualities to make for a quiet, peaceful home.

Within the private grounds, there are all the attractions of a luxury resort; the swimming pool and gym, shared BBQ areas, pedestrian friendly walkways for an evening stroll and village green

About the location

The estuary is literally across the road with a stunning walk around the peninsular. It`s just beautiful here, with mountains and water, mudflats and wading birds, always something new to observe. The loop takes us 40 minutes. We also take a similarly pretty stroll to the airport for coffee, would you believe, 20 mins there and back, or to the golf club 30 minutes away, with its gorgeous view across the links, out to sea.

We can see the renowned Brick Eatery restaurant from our window and we often stroll over for coffee and their cheese scones, the best we`ve ever tasted! Beyond that, over the road, is the delightful, cosy Honest Lawyer pub.

Stoke supermarkets, cafes and shopping are five minutes drive or 20 mins stroll away, another regular walk for us.

Nelson city, with cathedral, cinema, shops, wonderful cafes and restaurant,s is about a fifteen minute drive north and Richmond, K mart etc, is less than 10 mins away in the opposite direction.
