About the location

Bellbowrie (flowering gum) is a peaceful and leafy outer suburb of Brisbane. It is equally close to the city of Ipswich but feels rural, with many wooded areas and fields with horses nearby.

It is a nice spot for walks, in the nearby Anstead bushland you can spot a Koala on a lucky day, there is also the Brisbane Forest Reserve only a few km away, which is the start of the big D`Aigular range of forested mountains that includes the nearby Mount Coot-tha which is excellent for bush walks and has a summit lookout over Brisbane city skyline and cafe.

There is also the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary about 20 minutes away by car, which is the most popular Brisbane tourist attraction.

Five minutes walk takes you to the bus stop of route 444, which will take you into the city centre, transport centre (Roma St) and cultural centre (South Bank).
