About the location
Nestled in a picturesque village in the Mendip Hills, this cottage is on the edge of National Trust land with Crook Peak and Wavering Down just behind the house - a walkers paradise. A family favourite is a two hour walk over the hills to The New Inn for a pub lunch. Local strolls in the leafy lanes take in the 13th Century village church. Beyond the village is Cheddar with its famous gorge where the Strawberry Line cycle track begins for a lovely off road cycle. Medieval Axbridge is 2 miles away and has a good local shop and the historic Lamb Inn.
