Lovely Victorian terrace in Norwich City

Our home is a Victorian terrace in Norwich City. We have central heating and double glazing throughout. The house has big windows and is very light and bright, and very warm in winter. There are 3 bedrooms, one with king-size bed, one with a small-double bed, one with a single bed. There is an additional blow-up double bed that can fit in any of the rooms.

The modern kitchen-diner is open-plan with big windows looking out onto the south-facing garden. There is a laundry room/pantry off the kitchen. The lounge room is comfy and bright with TV, and an upright piano. There is a downstairs cloakroom and an upstairs bathroom with toilet and shower over the bath. The property has off-street parking, our car is available for use, although it's rarely needed as we prefer to bike (2 bikes available for use).

We are in a lively, friendly neighbourhood with grocery stores, restaurants and shops within 2 minutes walking distance, and we are five minutes walk from bustling Norwich City. A 30-50 minute drive will take you to beautiful Norfolk beaches and stately homes, and we have easy train access to London (including Eurostar) and Cambridge. Norwich has an international airport for easy access to Europe, London Stansted also an easy drive.

About the location

Norwich is the first UNESCO city of literature, it has a lively cultural scene and beautiful architecture -- it is the best-preserved medieval city in Britain with cobbled streets and medieval buildings, including a medieval castle that is open to the public. Norwich is the UK's most easterly city. It is close to some of the most beautiful beaches in the UK (our profile picture was taken on the famous Holkham Beach) and to many stunning stately homes (including Sandringham Estate, one of the royal residences). The Norfolk Broads National Park, Britain's largest wetlands and an area of outstanding natural beauty, is easily accessible by car, bus or train. A trip along the Broads in a boat is a unique experience that will never be forgotten. Easy and fast train access to central London (including the Eurostar to Paris), Cambridge, Lincoln etc. Norwich has an international airport with frequent flights to Amsterdam, Majorca, Menorca, Ibiza, and the Greek Islands. London Stansted airport (which offers wider European access) is an easy drive (1hr 40mins) or easy train ride away.
