My house is a 1920s semi-detached with: 2 bedrooms (1 with sofabed), bathroom, living room, downstairs cloakroom toilet, kitchen diner and a reasonably large garden. My house is 10 mins walk to the local Gipsy Hill train station, with regular trains into London (London Victoria & London Bridge), plus trains to Kent. Crystal Palace is also on the Overground.
** I have a pet cat and two bantam chickens, who would need feeding and cared for by any home-swapper.

Camille Pissarro (painter) lived near here for a short time, whilst in exile from the Franco Prussian war (1870-71).
Crystal Palace has lots of good local pubs and restaurants within walking distance (Japanese, Indian, Thai, British, Portuguese, Italian, Nepalese, Chinese, Turkish etc.); independent boutique shops; an art deco Everyman cinema; supermarkets; Crystal Palace Park and a local garden centre.
