Stylish Townhouse Richmond London

We live on the iconic, architecturally acclaimed, Wates Estate. Our house is a renovated 1960s townhouse over 3 levels. On the ground floor we have an open plan kitchen diner (which opens onto a courtyard garden), a wood burning stove and a boot room with WC. Our 1st floor has a large living room, double bedroom with en-suite bathroom/shower room. The 2nd floor has a king size bedroom, a double bedroom, a home office and a bathroom/shower room.

About the location

We live close to the River Thames on a stretch known as The Arcadian Thames due to its outstanding natural beauty and wealth of stately homes.. Our house is opposite Ham lands, a nature reserve; you can walk uninterrupted from our house to Richmond Park with its wild deer roaming over 2,500 acres. It really is a very special part of London.

When not relaxing in nature we are spoiled for places to shop, eat and discover.. Buzzy Richmond is a short drive away by car or bus (or hop on your bike for pleasant cycle along the river). Kingston upon Thames (10 minutes) has a wide variety of shops to explore and chichi Teddington (voted best place to live in the UK) is a short walk across the footbridge near our house. Must see destinations, Ham House, Kew Gardens and Hampton Court Palace are nearby. There are train stations into central London from Teddington, Kingston and Richmond - ideal if you wish to head into London for a day at the museums or a night at the theatre.

You can be in London Waterloo in 16 minutes on the overground train however Richmond also links with the London Underground.
