The Sea View House is one minute walk to the beach, less than ten minutes’ walk to Dunbeg beach and Dunstaffnage castle, and less than 10 minute drive to Oban.

The house has all home comforts and perfect for a holiday experience. The Sea View House has three-bedrooms and two bathrooms, it has a modern well equipped open plan kitchen/dinning and sitting area and offers free Wi-fi and a 58” TV, with Netflix, Sky, Wii consul, communal children park and gym, everything to make you feel at home on holiday.

About the location

There is easy access to walking and bicycle tracks that will lead you to Oban, Ganavan Sands Beach and Dunollie castle. The Ocean Explorer Centre is a fascinating museum, especially for kids, it located at the same place as the Beach Café, near the Dunstaffnage Castle car park, less than ten-minute walk from the house.

The Beach Café is located near the Scottish Association for Marine Science. There are several lovely restaurants in Oban, the Wide Mouthed Frog Grill and Whisky Bar is located at Dunbeg Marina and opens at 12 noon.

Oban has all the usual amenities: library, gym, swimming pool, tennis courts, golf, health centre, plenty of independent shops and supermarkets, pubs and social hubs. There is a regular bus service to Oban from Dunbeg. You can pick the ferry from Oban to Isle of Kerrera, Isle of Lismore, Isle of Mull & Iona, Easdale Island and Luing. Oban is only 3 hours train ride or car drive to either Edinburgh and Glasgow, and the nearest airport is Oban Airport. There is easy access to transport systems in Dunbeg and Oban though having a car may save you some time and offer some comfort.
