Llangloffan Manse

Our home is a beautifully restored Manse in Llangloffan, just two miles from the nearest beach on the north coast of Pembrokeshire.

There is a 3 bedroom cottage attached to our house that we let for holidays, it is the cottage we are offering for exchange.

Downstairs is a comfortable, welcoming sitting room with two sofas and an armchair, a smart TV with freesat, DVD and Bluetooth speaker, as well as a log burner. The sitting room leads on to the dining room with a range of books, toys and board games as well as a window seat overlooking the garden. Back through the sitting room takes you to the modern, country-style kitchen with fridge freezer, integrated washing machine and dishwasher as well as Belfast sink.

Upstairs are three double bedrooms, all with double beds; the master bedroom is en-suite and there is a generous family bathroom with bath and separate walk-in shower.

There is a lovely garden with charcoal barbecue, teak table and chairs, as well as a climbing frame and a wild meadow area. The next door field often has a herd of curious cows in it! We live in a small hamlet with all amenities in easy reach, however a car is essential. You can walk to the local beach (2 miles) via the nearest woollen mill, where there is an excellent cafe and shop, stocked by the working mill which supplies Welsh blankets and textiles locally and internationally.

About the location

The north Pembrokeshire coast is beautiful - rugged, unspoilt, with many beaches to choose from. Out of the main season you can frequently find you are the only people on the beach! There is a variety of lovely towns around us, including Fishguard and Newport (Pembs) as well as St Davids, the smallest city in Britain. Pembrokeshire has over 55 beaches, some of our favourites are Whitesands, Marloes, Newport but there are lots to explore. There are many activities to enjoy on water and land, including kayaking coasteering, wild swimming, sauna on the beach, drive-in cinema in the summer months (overlooking the sea), horse-riding or of course, walking the incredible Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Enjoy one of many boat trips to the Pembrokeshire islands, where you can see puffins, seals, a wide range of seabirds, dolphins and porpoises and if you are lucky, maybe a whale too. There is local pottery and craft activities, as well as local gardens and castles, year-round music and festival programmes and various theatre and cinema events. You can also pop over to Ireland as we are just 15 minutes drive from the Fishguard ferry to Rosslare.
