Central Location in Mallorca, Iles Baleares

Our home is a typical Mallorcan manor house, of 650m2, large outdoor entertaining space and garden, with tables, chairs, sun decks loungers. The garden and terrace has sun all day from May to Sept. The garden area has also a covered outdoor space with dining table and chairs for 6-8 people, and additional round table for another 4 people. Outdoor BBQ area.

- Ground floor: large open living and dining area, nxt to this you have a pool table and also arcade game. The area has high 4m ceilings, bright and airy. The ground floor has also the kitchen and sitting area, and a bathroom/toilet
- First floor: there is another livingroom, sofa, TV, and 2 double bedrooms and one king size bedroom, bathtub and separate shower and toilet. The king size bedroom opens up onto a large terrace with table and chairs, and also sun loungers.
- 2 floor, there is again another livingroom with 3 sofas, coffee table, and 2 double bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms with showers.

The house is in the center of Alaro, 50m from the main square, and a 2min walk to supermarkarts, cafes, restaurants, parking. There is the 342 bus which is a short 5 min walk that is direct to Consell/Alaro train station. The train takes you directly to Palma in less than 25min. The house does not have a pool, however there is the town outdoor pool which is only 5 min walk away and is ard 3 euros/person/day. Though I would recommend visiting all the beautiful coves and beaches that Mallorca has to offer! We have loads of scuba gear that you can also borrow.

About the location

The bustling town of Alaró is nestled in a peaceful valley on the southern slopes of the Tramuntana Mountain range in Mallorca.
The biggest attraction in Alaró is Castell d’Alaro. It is considered a must see for anyone visiting the area. The castle is a challenging two-hour walk from the centre of the village. It is possible to drive part of the way up, parking at the well-known Lamb restaurant Es Verger. Once you reach the ruins of the castle you are rewarded with breathtaking views.

Being nestled on the slopes of the Tramuntana Mountain range has made Alaró a popular base with hikers and cyclists. Many amateur and professional cyclists take advantage of the easy access to some of the island’s best road routes. The rugged surrounding countryside is home to many well-known hiking trails. There are many hotels and companies in and around Alaró catering to just this market.
