Upstairs there is the master bedroom with a king-size bed, a second bedroom with a single bed and a new bathroom with a shower and a bath. On the ground floor the third bedroom, which has a king-size bed, opens onto the decking and the garden. The kitchen has a fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine. There is a living room, dining room, conservatory, and a downstairs cloakroom with WC and wash basin. There is good WiFi throughout the house. Please note that there are steps up to the front door which means the house may not be easily accessible for wheel-chair users.
There is a garden with garden furniture. The neighbours are friendly, quiet and helpful.
About the location
Sometimes nicknamed "London-by-the-sea", the city of Brighton and Hove, nestled between the sea and the South Downs, is a vibrant, cosmopolitan city with a blend of modern culture and interesting architecture such as the Royal Pavilion.
A short bus ride away there are theatres, four cinemas, various music venues and numerous restaurants, cafes and bars. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, with wonderful views from the South Downs. The Seven Sisters chalk cliffs and Beachy Head are a bus ride away.
From the house it`s a two minute walk to bus stop for buses into central Hove and Brighton, and a twenty minute walk to train station for trains to London.
London is approximately an hour away by train and Gatwick Airport is a thirty minute train ride. The port of Newhaven, a 25 minute drive away, operates ferries to Dieppe in Normandy, France. The port of Dover is a two hour drive. The historic towns of Lewes and Arundel are well worth a visit.
