Villa Colibri

We have a 3 bedroom (all en-suite) 3 storey town house on a residential/holiday complex in the village of Cabanas de Tavira.

There is a fully equipped kitchen and lounge/dinner. There is a small garden and outdoor bbq. All bedrooms have balconies to sit on.

The complex has a shared pool, bar/snack bar and a restaurant. It is 15 mins walk to the boardwalk with restaurants and shops. The train station is 10 mins walk with trains to Tavira (5 mins), Faro (40 mins).

About the location

Cabanas is a portguese fishing village that has developed for tourism but only with low rise buildings and more authentic than the western algarve. It’s has a good selection of snack bars, bars and restaurants. There are small supermarkets. It is 5km from the historic Tavira which has a larger range of restaurants and shops and large super markets. There is an hourly train to Tavira but it’s also possible to walk or cycle over the salt flats and an Uber is c10e

There are international residents as well as Portuguese. It is on the lovely Ria Formosa and a short boat ride is required to the beautiful cabanas beach. Nearby beaches in Manta Rota, Altura are accessible without boat.

Spain is only a 20 min drive.
