Edwardian terraced house
This is an airy, comfortable four bedroom home in a quiet, friendly area, with excellent transport links by Tube to Heathrow and all central London locations. We have lots of fun, vintage furniture and original art on the walls for you to enjoy, as well as a peaceful enclosed garden with sofa, dining table and hammock.
For kids, we have lots of children`s board games and lego to play with too, as well as a small rocking horse.
We have one king size bed, and two single bedrooms. We also have two extra single air beds if needed.
All the bedrooms have a desk in them.
There are two bathrooms overall, and one extra toilet downstairs. The double room has an en suite bathroom (bath and toilet only).
We have a projector with a huge screen (which rolls down from the ceiling) in the living room you can use to watch TV and films which is connected to Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney + etc, as well as fast broadband.
We have an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer available for you to use. There is also a coffee grinder and a vesuvius coffee maker.
The house is 6 minutes walk from the Tube (Acton Town), 10 minutes walk to an Overland train station (South Acton). Nearby attractions are: Gunnersbury Park and Museum, Act One Cinema and Pitzhanger Manor. You can also park in our drive if you wish though it is quite a tight space. If too tight street parking can be arranged via an app.
The house is about 20 - 30 minutes from Heathrow by Tube.
About the location
The house is 6 minutes walk from the Tube (Acton Town), 10 minutes walk to an Overland train station (South Acton), as well as several buses.
Nearby attractions are: Gunnersbury Park and Museum, Act One Cinema, Pitzhanger Manor and EveryoneActive Leisure Centre (indoor swimming pool - booking needed but very affordable). There`s a also an outdoor skate park and mini golf which has a delicious pizza resaturant in Acton Park (very fun - with streams and bridges - 20 minutes walk).
There are many cafes and restaurants walking distance from the house, as well as an excellent pub (The George and Dragon - 10 minutes walk) which has live jazz on Thursday evenings. The best cafes are 15 minutes walk away on a very cute street called Churchfield Road which has many many cafes to choose from, and a villagey vibe.
You can get to the museums of South Kensington in around 30 minutes, Picadilly Circus and central London via one Tube in around 35 - 40 minutes. There is also a direct train to East London.
