About the location

We are blessed to call Berkhamsted our home town! A traditional market town only a 30min commute to London city. Berko (as the locals call it) is a foodie haven with just too many restaurants to choose from! Small independent boutiques and cafes line the bustling high street with fantastic street markets every Wednesday and Saturday. We also have THE BEST art deco movie theatre where you can treat yourself to cheese and wine in the luxurious velvet bucket seats. Our area is a walkers paradise with rolling hills and a vast amount of cycling routes. Lots of stuff for the kids too with the Harry Potter studios only a 15min drive away! Local pottery and art classes in the town too. You will never be bored in Berko!

Our house has a little gate at the end of the garden which opens onto the canal where you can walk 10 mins into the centre of town and stop off for a coffee on the numerous floating café barges.
