Unique Somerset Town, Wildlife Reserves, Cycling, Walking and Glastonbury Festival.
I live in a comfortable mid terrace home, in Glastonbury, nestled in the glorious Somerset countryside. It has two bedrooms, a good home office, for home working, bathroom (shower and bath), open plan living/dining room, and kitchen. The house is blessed with a small south facing garden, a real suntrap. It is a warm mid terrace house with gas central heating. There is off road parking at the front of the house. We have good broadband and both myself and daughter have worked from home in our home office. If you want to swap for Glastonbury Festival, there is a shuttle bus from Glastonbury to the fesitval site in Pilton (6 miles away). Details of which are on the festival website.
About the location
My home is a three bedroomed (two bedrooms and a home office) mid terrace house, in a quiet road in Glastonbury, Somerset. The house is light and airy, has contemporary decor and a south facing back garden. There is also eco grid off road parking at the front of the house and provate parking by my garage.
I currently have one double bedroom and a single in the guest room, I can add another single bed to the second bedroom. There will be wardrobe space in both rooms for guests, cabinet space in the bathroom and free cupboards in the kitchen.
Glastonbury is a unique town which has many myths and legends, lovely walks and nature reserves locally. It is also home to Glastonbury Abbey home if the first church in England https://www.visitsomerset.co.uk/things-to-do/attractions/history-and-heritage/glastonbury-abbey

Tickets go on sale in October/November and are gone in minutes so you must get your tickets in advance. There are shuttle buses from Glastonbury to the festival site.
Wookey Hole Caves 15 mins https://www.wookey.co.uk/
We also have Clarke Factory Village on our doorstep https://clarksvillage.co.uk/
Glastonbury is within an hours drive of Bristol, the historic town of Bath, with its lovely Christmas markets. The World Heritage Jurassic Coast and also Stonehenge are 67 mins away, Avebury Stone Circle and West Kennett Long Barrow 1.5 hours. The smallest city in England, Wells is 6 miles away.

The house is a 2 minute walk from a bus route that takes you directly into Bristol, from where you can catch a coach or train to anywhere in the U.K. You can also get a coach direct from Glastonbury to London.
I love the mix of living within e easy reach of the countryside and access to city life when needed. The house is warm in winter and has a good EPC rating.
If I am swapping abroad my car would be available if you get your own insurance. It is however a 2008 Renault Modus semi automatic. Not swish but reliable. The only insurance company I could find nationally that would take none EU or UK licenses is Adrian Flux.
There are some great walks and cycle routes in the area. If you want to explore the U.K. by train Castle Cary Station is 28 minutes drive away with direct trains to London, or if you want to go by public transport, a train to Bristol Temple Meads Train Station is directly on the bus route that leaves from a bus stop 2 minutes walk away.
