Oak Tree Cottage

Oak Tree Cottage is a cosy and well built house on the village green in North Bovey, a picturesque Devon village. It has an older style, with a large living room, a conservatory, kitchen with aga, and dining room. It house a garage and a small well-stocked garden with a pond. The house has a small wood burning stove, oil-powered central heating, and double glazing throughout. Parking is easy and free. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, with another toilet downstairs, in addition to the main bathroom with bath and shower.

About the location

The village has an excellent pub with wwell- reviewed food, and the resort/manor house of Bovey Castle is a short walk away. The area is perfect for country walks as it is in Dartmoor National Park, with the high moor reached by car in around 10 minutes. The busy town of Moretonhampstead is 10 minutes drive away, which has all amenities. Exeter and the mainline train is a 40-minute drive, and many of Devon's most beautiful places are within easy reach.
