Detached house with heated pool & hot tub

French house with a modern twist. Everything you want at home you get here but with wonderful uninterrupted views across the Aude valley to the Pyrénées.

Three bedrooms. The master has an ensuite, there is another double bedroom and a twin room which shares the double basin bathroom. Note that bathrooms only have showers. Both bathrooms were renewed this year.

The kitchen has a workstation/breakfast bar, wine cooler & lots of items you need if you like to cook - even a velvetiser. Great for winter hot chocolate.. Nespresso machine for coffee.

Outside is a large terrace with a lounge set, dining set with a glass balcony allowing you see the view when sitting down. Steps down to the pool gives the pool, hot tub, bbq with another dining set and loungers by the pool. There is a further ‘bottom garden’ which is an area which you can use for games or having quiet time by the cherry tree.

About the location

The house is near to Montolieu a National Book & Arts town. There are lots going on there right through the year and of course there are lots of restaurants and cafes. You need a car to enjoy La Bouzole and the area. Eg Saissac with its amazing castle and views is about 1s mins away and St Ferriol with the huge lake/walking trails is about 20 mins,

Carcassonne is about 15 minutes drive and is spectacular! The Cité is the base of Kate Mosse’s books and is a World Heritage city.

Spain is about 2hr drive south, the Med about an hour. Toulouse is about 50 minutes and Bezièrs the same, both have airports. Bèziers serves UK airports too.You have a choice of ski resorts within 2 hours in France and Andorra.
