Newly built modern house in the heart of The Chilterns, 30 minutes from London!

Our award winning self build family home is situated in the conservation area in the centre of Berkhamsted and was completed in 2024. It features two double bedrooms and a children's bedroom (currently with a cotbed, however we also have two single memory foam mattresses available for older children). The large open-plan living space includes a living room, dining room, and kitchen, with bifold doors that open into the back garden with two separate patios. The house also offers two offices, a downstairs WC, and a family bathroom. The two double bedrooms comes with ensuite bathrooms. The front drive can fit up to 3 cars if needed.

About the location

Berkhamsted is one of the best small towns in the Chilterns, 30 minutes train ride away from central London. We are located on it's high street, less than 100m from a fantatic pub and Indian. In total Berkhamsted has 10 pubs, over 10 coffee shops, over 20 restaurants, a wide range of high street stores, and independent boutiques, along with lively market days. The Rex cinema is a personal favourite, well worth a visit! All of which are within 5 minutes walk from our doorstep.

For walkers, we also have tranquil woodlands, countryside, peaceful canal paths and even a castle to explore! The area is a haven for walkers and cyclists, with plenty of scenic routes to explore in the Chilterns & Ashridge Estate.
