Semi detached house with south facing garden, fully refurbished in 2023

Located in Harnham two minutes walk from the river Avon, our home is a short walk across the beautiful water meadows to Salisbury's historic cathedral and city centre.

Salisbury railway station is also about 15 minutes walk across the water meadows, we also have an excellent local bus service so a car is not a prerequisite to your visit.

The house was completely renovated in 2023 and everything presents in the best condition, all newly decorated and easy on the eye. The front door opens to a hall with a WC and a door to the open plan living room/dining table & kitchen. The living room is very light and comfortable, with bi-fold doors opening at the garden end (south facing) to a patio and garden. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, a single bedroom and a shower room. The kitchen has all the bits you`ll want including a dish washer. We also have a water softener, even your dog can have a shower outside with softened h/c water!

The drive is big enough for two cars, although there are no parking restrictions on the road.
There is a 7kW car charging point on the house wall, this can be made available by arrangement (low cost charging between 12pm and 7am).

About the location

Located on the Harnham side of Town Path in Salisbury on a quiet cul de sac, our house is a fifteen minute walk across Salisbury`s historic water meadows in to the city centre with beautiful views of the Cathedral. There is a two minutes walk to the Middle Street meadow or a park adjacent to the Old Mill Pub and the river. You can bring a paddle board or canoe if you fancy paddling around the city, you can launch from either the meadow or a slipway alongside the Old Mill Pub. A children`s playground is found in Elizabeth gardens at the Salisbury end of Town Path.

Salisbury is famous for it`s cathedral and the ancient cathedral site at Old Sarum, once home to King Henry 1st, 2nd and 3rd. There is an excellent theatre within walking distance of our house, twice weekly markets and lots of lovely shops and cafes.

Notably, we are around thirty minutes by car or tour bus from Stonehenge and an hour by car from Avebury Rings.

The whole area is a ideal for walking, cycling and running with lots of footpaths, tracks and droves awaiting adventurers.

It is less than a twenty minute drive to the New Forest and around forty five minutes to Christchurch and Bournemouth for the seaside, all accessible by bus. You also have easy access to the Purbecks in the west, with Southampton and the Solent south and east of Salisbury.
