Balmain Terrace House
Our home is an 1890’s terrace house in the heart of Balmain, within a 5 minute walk to a regular bus service to Sydney’s Town Hall Station (15 minute bus ride), or 10 minute walk to ferry to Sydney’s Circular Quay (15 minute ferry trip).
Thoroughly renovated, the ground level comprises separate formal lounge/dining room, a well appointed kitchen with modern appliances including dishwasher, and a lounge and dining area which opens out fully through bi-fold doors to a sun drenched courtyard.
Stairs up to the first floor lead to two sunny bedrooms, both with king sized beds. The front bedroom opens out to a balcony which catches the morning sun, and the other overlooks the rear garden and has an en-suite shower & toilet. A second seperate main bathroom includes a full size bath. A laundry on the first floor is equipped with a washing machine and a dryer.
Stairs leading up to the second floor open to a room with a pull down (double) wall bed, with views from the dormer window to the Sydney Harbour bridge.

Balmain has a village atmosphere, with many cafes, restaurants and historic pubs within easy walking distance of our home, as is shopping for daily requirements.
Harbourside walks around the nearby Ballast Point park afford views of the western side of the city and the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
