Paris with balcony, views & breezes

Paris’s 14th arrondissement! ***We’ve just moved in so still setting up and in process of updating photos.)***

The space

2 bedroom with large balcony , kitchen that includes washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and our Delonghi bean to cup espresso/cappuccino maker😊. Living room/dining room with large windows with cross ventilation. Master bedroom with queen sized bed. Second bedroom mostly used as office has a queen sized pull out sofa that’s very comfortable Bathroom with tub/shower. Separate toilet room. Fans for summer, no a/c as is common in France. Quiet apartment. We have a a rowing machine and free weights : )

Guest access

7th floor with 2 elevators (actually 9 floors up.) Parking garage with 1 space accessed via locked internal elevator. Depending on our travel plans the parking space may or may not be available. There is sometimes on street parking available. Entering the building does require walking up either 1 or 2 sets of stairs depending which of 2 entrances you use. Not big stairs but please note if you have mobility issues.

In terms of the apartment you will have access to all minus some closets.

Notes

Two locked doors to enter the building. Accessible with electronic key fob. Garbage and recycling on a lower level via either of 2 elevators. Live in concierge and handy man.

We will be very happy to provide you with directions for getting around and recommendations for activities, restaurants and shopping, etc…

About the location

Live like a local. Away from the crowds yet easy access to all. Fabulous Parc Montsouris just around the corner! Plus… large balcony with open views over the city including views of Montmartre’s Sacre Coeur and the top of the Eiffel Tower!! Watch it sparkle at night with a glass of champagne 🥂 on your private balcony.

Large supermarket and a boulangerie (bakery) right downstairs. Pharmacy one block away. Bus stops one block away take you to Notre Dame and more in 15-20 minutes or enjoy a hardy walk. If you want a friendly (bilingual staff), comfort food meal available all day (unusual in France) there’s a great, affordable place about 6 minutes walk. There are a couple of pizza places close, a few blocks in the other direction a friendly brasserie (bar/restaurant) with all the basics plus fresh oysters! Of course , there are French restaurants and also a number of Asian. Really every type of food is available .

Getting to my home

Orly airport is Paris’ smaller and more “user friendly” airport. It’s only 15 minute drive from us and also accessible by bus and train. Right outside our building you can catch a regional train, a tram or multiple buses.

Nearest airport

CDG and ORY. Orly is closest and smaller/easier to navigate. Fastest option is taxi (regulated price) or Uber. Can also take train into Paris.
