Our home is a renovated Edwardian-style single storey, 3-bedroom (1 queen, 2 single) + 1 bathroom, located in Caulfield North which is 8km south-east of the Melbourne CBD. Our home sleeps 4 and has open plan kitchen and dining, with a separate living area.

There is decked terrace and entertaining area in the backyard with a gas BBQ and outdoor dining table, along with children's play equipment (swings, cubby house, etc.).

Central heating in all rooms, air conditioning in the living zone, wood open fire place, Internet/wi-fi, TVs, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, and plenty of toys to entertain kids.

About the location

Our place is well connected to public transport with a tram stop just 5 houses away (100 metres). Trams can take you into the CBD, or to the popular St Kilda beach with vibrant Acland Street cafes and restaurants. Caulfield Train Station is approx. 8 minutes walk, which can then get you into the CBD by express train in less than 20 mins.

Caulfield Park is 200 metres from our house, which is the largest park in the area with 3 playgrounds, 7 sports ovals, scenic lake, and a variety of picnic shelters with facilities including BBQs, throughout the park.

Still within walking distance (approx. 5 mins) we have Caulfield Village, with a full-line supermarket, medical clinic & pharmacy, and food outlets. Our local café is just 3 doors down (50 metres) our street, which has amazing coffee and food!

Also less than 10 minutes away (by car/uber) is Chadstone which is the largest indoor shopping centre in Australia. It has over 500 retail stores, and over 90 fresh food and dining options, plus entertainment (cinemas etc.).
